  20. The above sounds like a description of the PRL libraries - source
  21. included, no royalties, good documentation, plenty of test/demo
  22. programs, and free support and upgrades for 1 year.  Most PRL libraries
  23. are only slightly higher than $45 (but not much more), unless you
  24. run Linux, in which case a free binary version is available.  The
  25. main difference is PRL is supported under Fortran rather than C,
  26. although some users are calling it from C, and at least one user
  27. is driving it from Ada on a VMS Alpha system.

  29. So maybe it's a coin toss between ZGRAF and PRL, but maybe not.
  30. To find out, check his web page and download his documentation and
  31. demo code, and then check PRL at http://www.iah.com/oa/ and download
  32. the PRL docs and demo code for Linux (it's the same on all systems).
